Intro Path 09:
The First Portal
This coaching is only going to work if you authentically want your life to get better.
Yes, like it says, the basic point of the First Portal is: if you want this coaching to work, then you have to really want your life to get better.
That sounds pretty obvious, but funny thing: often, underneath an inauthentic veneer, folks who are stuck in life do not really want their lives to get better. They say that they do. They might even think that they do. But, often, they really don't.
Down the road, we're going to talk at some length about this issue, but for now, we're going to handle it with a simple declaration.
So, if you want this coaching to work for you, then you need to say the following out loud:
"I want my life to get better, and I want my life to be better. I want to enjoy my life more, and I want to be more productive. I am being honest and authentic in making this declaration."
Hmm. Well, you know, that was OK, but you can do better. Let's try it again, and this time, really mean it. Ready? OK! Go!
"I want my life to get better, and I want my life to be better. I want to enjoy my life more, and I want to be more productive. I am being honest and authentic in making this declaration."
All right. That'll have to do. If you said that, and if you meant it, then we'll call that success.
