A Qualification
I need to lead off the following discussion with a qualification.
I am about to describe the fundamental, primordial, default purpose of a human being. It's possible that you might find this discussion to be somewhat dark, dispiriting, and depressing.
So, I need to qualify the following discussion by saying: this isn't everything. The purpose that is detailed in the discussion that immediately follows isn't the only purpose that human beings can and do manifest. Yes, it's the most common purpose, but it's not the only purpose available to you and to anyone else, and it's not the only purpose that shows up in and among your fellow humans, and, likely, you.
With that having been noted, let's begin one of the most impactful discussions that you are going to encounter in your entire life.
